Grizzlython Finished with 800 Projects Submitted

Since the start of February 2023 more than 9000 people signed up for the latest Solana Hackathon called the Grizzlython! Over 800 projects from all around the world have submitted their project to potentially win over $5 million USD in global funding & seed funding! To read more about the Solana Grizzlython prizes see our previous post.

Over the next week will aggregate all the submissions we see on CT and put here! (thanks & links back to Solana Ecosystem contributooors! See thank you list at bottom)

The different hackathon tracks are as follows:

  • Mobile – Web3 projects built on Solana Mobile Stack / Saga.

  • DeFi – Decentralised applications for the open financial system.

  • Payment – projects that help everyone pay with crypto.

  • Consumer – web apps designed for billions of users (aka Social).

  • Tools & Infrastructure – underlying tools and infrastructure that powers the Solana ecosystem.

  • Gaming – blockchain gaming that integrates NFT’s, Tokens, P2P markets, etc

  • DAO’s & Network States – governance tools and infrastructure for internet first organisations

Whats it about?

Kyogen Clash is a fully on chain real time strategy game built on top of the Dominari Game Engine. The game features four distinct factions, with each their own unique special abilities, all vying for control over a precious resource — Solarite. Players play in massive battles, where they move units in real time to capture spawn points and mine Solarite, while spending it on various helpful structures on the map.
